First Ward boundaries.
The First Ward of the Borough of Hanover shall be and hereby is established and described as follows: Beginning from a corner at the center-line intersection of North Railroad Street and East Chestnut Street; thence along the center line of East Chestnut Street in a northeasterly direction to the center-line intersection of East Chestnut Street and Broadway; thence along the center line of Broadway in a northeasterly direction to a point on the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line; thence along the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line by various courses and distances in a southeasterly direction to an intersection point at the center line of the Penn Central Railroad; thence along the center line of the Penn Central Railroad by various courses and distances in a southwesterly direction to a center-line intersection point of the Penn Central Railroad and Center Street; thence along the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line in a southerly direction to a center-line intersection point of the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line and Baer Avenue; thence along the center line of Baer Avenue in a northwesterly direction to the center-line intersection of Baer Avenue and East Middle Street; thence along the center line of East Middle Street in a southwesterly direction to the center-line intersection of East Middle Street and South Railroad Street; thence along the center line of South and North Railroad Street in a northwesterly direction to the center-line intersection of North Railroad Street and East Chestnut Street, the place of beginning.
Second Ward boundaries.
The Second Ward of the Borough of Hanover shall be and hereby is established and described as follows: Beginning from a corner at the center-line intersection of North Railroad Street and East Chestnut Street; thence along the center line of North Railroad Street in a northeasterly direction to the center-line intersection of North Railroad Street, North Street and Eichelberger Street; thence along the center line of Eichelberger Street in a northwesterly direction to a point on the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line; thence along the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line by various courses and distances in an easterly direction to a point on the center line of Broadway; thence along the center line of Broadway in a southwesterly direction to the center-line intersection of Broadway and East Chestnut Street; thence along the center line of East Chestnut Street in a southwesterly direction to the center-line intersection of East Chestnut Street and North Railroad Street, the place of beginning.
Third Ward boundaries.
The Third Ward of the Borough of Hanover shall be and hereby is established and described as follows: Beginning from a corner at the center-line intersection of High Street and the Penn Central Railroad; thence along the center line of High Street in a northwesterly direction to a point at the center-line intersection of High Street and Third Street; thence along the center line of Third Street in a westerly direction to a point of intersection with the York-Adams County and Hanover Borough boundary line; thence along said boundary line in a northerly direction to a point of intersection with the center line of WHVR Road; thence along the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line by various courses and distances in an easterly direction to a corner at the center-line intersection of WHVR Road and Carlisle Street; thence along the center line of Carlisle Street in a northwesterly direction to the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line; thence along the Borough of Hanover-Penn Township boundary line by various courses and distances in a southeasterly direction to a point of intersection with the center line of Eichelberger Street extended; thence along the center line of Eichelberger Street extended and Eichelberger Street in a southeasterly direction to the intersection point of North Street, North Railroad Street and Eichelberger Street; thence along the center line of North Railroad Street in a southerly direction to the center-line intersection of North Railroad Street and the Penn Central Railroad; thence along the center line of the Penn Central Railroad in a southwesterly direction to the center-line intersection point of the Penn Central Railroad and High Street, the place of beginning.
